Rachel Anne McAdams is a Canadian actress who born on 17th November 1978 in London, Ontario, Canada. The real name of Rachel McAdams is Rachel Anne McAdams. She was born to nurse Sandra(née Gale) and to a truck driver Lance McAdams.
She was bought up in St.Thomas, Southwestern Ontario, Canada in a Protestant household. Among the three children she has a younger sister Kayleen who is a makeup artist and a younger brother Daniel who is a personal trainer. She is basically a decent of Scottish, English and Irish.

Rachel was born in London, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are Sandra and Lance McAdams. She has a younger sister named Kayleen McAdams and a younger brother named Daniel McAdams. Her maternal fifth great-grandfather, James Gray, was a Loyalist Ranger during the American Revolution and fled to Canada after the Battles of Saratoga.
She started her schooling in Myrtle Street Public School and Central Elgin Collegiate Institute. As she was not interested in academics she avoided going to school. She was very much in to sports including volleyball, badminton, and soccer. she was on the student council, participated in the Crime Stoppers program, and was a member of the Peer Helping Team.

McAdams after graduating from York University in 2001, She started to work in drama film Perfect Pie (2002) as a Canadian television and film production, which gave her a Genie award nomination.
